Why did you decide to become a teacher?
-
I loved Israel and the Hebrew language and wanted to share my passion with others.
What do you love about working for Talmud Torah?
Talmud Torah is part of my soul. I have spent most of my life at Talmud Torah, both as a student and as a teacher. I am a Bet Midrash graduate, as are my siblings, my husband and our five children. The teachers who taught me about Judaism, Israel, Tanach, Jewish holidays, how to communicate in Hebrew, and more, made an everlasting impression on me. It has been my privilege to pass on many of the lessons that I learned from these knowledgable, creative, and committed Jewish educators. Our institution promotes close connections and life-long friendships. It is an honor to work at one of the cornerstones of our Jewish community.
