Why did you decide to become a teacher?

  • I wanted to be a teacher of Jewish studies to positively impact the lives of Jewish families.

What do you love about working for Talmud Torah?

I have loved working at Talmud Torah because there has always been a respect for Jewish texts, Jewish traditions and heritage, and a strong connection to Israel among the families we serve. I have been fortunate to teach multiple generations of families and am now teaching the children and grandchildren of the students (both adult and children) I taught when I first started out. It has been a very gratifying and meaningful profession throughout my life.
