Alumni Scholarships and Professional Development Funds

Many thanks to our generous donors for providing grants that allow Talmud Torah of Minneapolis alumni and teachers the opportunity to receive scholarships for lifelong Jewish learning including high school Israel experiences and post-secondary Jewish education.

Israel Experience
Talmud Torah of Minneapolis 7th and 8th graders can earn up to $2,000 in grants toward a high school Israel trip with programs such as Ramah Seminar, USY Pilgrimage, BBYO Israel Journey, Alexander Muss High School, and others. More information about this scholarship is shared in depth as students approach the upper-grade levels.

 

Talmud Torah Fund for the Advancement of Jewish Professional Careers

Talmud Torah alumni who are pursuing careers as Jewish professionals are eligible to apply for scholarships in support of their college-level education. Scholarships available to undergraduate and graduate level students and open to any Jewish professional career path.

This fund is supported by the Leo and Beth Frisch Career in Jewish Education Fund for the Talmud Torah and the Rachel Raviv Hoffer Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund.

Professional Development Funds

Schochet Family Judaic Studies Fund
This financial award is available to teachers at Talmud Torah of Minneapolis or Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School for the purposes of continuing education. Awards are determined each spring.
