Dear Kitah Gimel (3rd grade) families,
Thank you so much for joining us at our Hanukkah Hagigah! Our students enjoyed sharing what they learned about Hanukkah with you, including their Hanukkah Haikus, Modern Maccabee Discussion, and Candle Lighting Dedication. We shared a beautiful moment together as we lit the candles on the Hanukkiah, and participated in fun activities such as making Hanukkah cards and playing dreidel games! It is wonderful to see our students and families engage in holiday traditions together.
As always, we are very impressed with all the questions our students have about the Hanukkah story. We are truly blown away by the thoughtfulness and curiosity each student brings to the classroom. As we continue into the year, we hope each student grows more confident sharing their ideas and questions with the class!
In Sofya’s class, our students have continues to progress with their Hebrew skills! The students working together in order to learn new Hebrew words and phrases. In the last few weeks we are working finishing letters review book and after the break we will start with the new Hebrew textbook.
Again, thank you so much for joining us for our (pre) Hanukkah celebration, and we hope you enjoy your winter break!
