Dear Kitah Gimel (3rd grade) Families,
After a restful Winter Break we are excited to be back together in the classroom!
In Polly’s class, students reviewed each unit we have covered so far this year and created beautiful pages in their Birkonim, or Blessing Journals, to keep as a memory. We also began our new unit about Shabbat. Over the next few weeks we will learn about the traditions and rituals or Shabbat, and practice them in class.
In Sofya’s class, students are learning numbers 1-1000 and are practicing speaking in Hebrew. They are also beginning to dive into the Hebrew textbook The New Siddur Program, reading both prayers and creative stories. Here is a link to the book so you can work together and practice reading with you child at home.
