Dear Kitah Gimel (3rd-grade) families,
How quickly the times change! It seems like just a few weeks ago we were parading around the halls of Talmud Torah in our Purim costumes. Now we have moved to online instruction using Zoom and are figuring out creative and unique ways to make learning fun and keep our classroom community alive.
In Polly’s class students are learning about Israel by exploring the geography, comparing Israeli culture to our own culture in Minnesota, and celebrating Yom Ha'Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day! We are having lots of fun exploring the streets of Israel on Google Maps and seeing funny pictures from Polly and Sofya’s experiences in Israel.
In Sofya’s class...
We want to thank you so much for your constant dedication to Jewish learning. We are inspired by you and are excited to move forward with your students in this new way! As always, please feel free to reach out to us, we love hearing from you and want to make sure we are making the best of these uncertain times.
